One of our volunteers found her in their front yard! She was only 10lbs at the time and a neighbor believes they saw her being dumped by someone. Nicknamed Queen P, she takes her job as herd queen very seriously. She's one of the smallest goats here but she's certainly the boss.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/cb.jpg</image:loc><image:caption>Cornbread was rescued in 2021 as a tiny companion for Hoagie. He came to use very fearful of people and it took a long time to gain his trust. He'll gladly accept treats now and likes to follow us around the pasture, but he appreciates his space. Handling him can be quite challenging as he requires a lot of patience and understanding, which we're happy to provide.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/farm-entrance.jpg</image:loc></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/hoagie.jpg</image:loc><image:caption>Hoagie was one of our first sanctuary animals, joining us in 2020. He's a very small miniature pony only measuring about 27" at the shoulder but if you ask him, he's the big man on campus. Due to his conformation, he's prone to hoof abnormalities, mobility issues and joint stiffness. </image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/pj.jpg</image:loc><image:caption>Parker Jade aka PJ is the most complex and challenging medical case we've ever had. She came to us as a young pup by way of Animal Control in 2023. She was emaciated, she had a horrific skin infection due to mange that had been left untreated and was presumably blind. After months of testing as she battled severe anemia, GI issues, bladder issues and more she was diagnosed with a congenital liver shunt. In April 2024 she underwent surgery for her liver shunt and a few months later, had a bi-lateral enucleation. PJ will require lifelong care and monitoring for her liver. Despite what she's been through, she remains one of the sweetest and happiest dogs we've ever known. </image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/jinx.jpg</image:loc><image:caption>Jinx came to us by way of Animal Control in 2024. Found as a stray with a very young goat (Juniper) and we were asked by the shelter to take "mom and kid." Imagine our surprise when they arrived and we discovered Jinx is a boy! Not mother and daughter, but he and Juniper are very bonded and have a really sweet friendship. Jinx is a very tame and affectionate goat. He loves people and attention.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/sprout.jpg</image:loc><image:caption>Sprout came to FCRR in 2023 as a breeder surrender. She was born with fluid on her spinal cord, which affects her mobility in her hind end. She requires very specialized care but she's happy, active, loving and has no idea she's different. We were told early on that her prognosis was guarded, but she's continued to prove everyone wrong and we hope to have many more years with her.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/img_20240128_213130.jpg</image:loc><image:title>img_20240128_213130</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/img_20240128_213128.jpg</image:loc><image:title>img_20240128_213128</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/img_20240128_213134.jpg</image:loc><image:title>img_20240128_213134</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2025-06-08T17:30:07+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/contact/about-us/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success10.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success10</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success9.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success9</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success8.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success8</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success7.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success7</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success6.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success6</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success5.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success5</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success4.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success4</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success3.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success3</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success2.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success2</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/success1.jpg</image:loc><image:title>success1</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2025-06-02T14:34:15+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/donate/</loc><lastmod>2025-01-29T00:25:13+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/contact/</loc><lastmod>2024-01-29T02:24:56+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/foster/</loc><lastmod>2022-11-04T14:08:33+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/2021/08/02/sponsor-mutts-coffee/</loc><lastmod>2021-08-02T21:25:31+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/2021/08/02/sponsor-best-life-leashes/</loc><lastmod>2021-08-02T21:20:00+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/2020/12/01/new-shelter-coming-soon/</loc><lastmod>2020-12-02T01:06:06+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/2020/11/22/donation-drive/</loc><lastmod>2020-12-01T17:39:39+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/2020/11/22/example-post-2/</loc><lastmod>2020-12-01T17:36:39+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com/2020/11/22/example-post-3/</loc><lastmod>2020-12-01T17:32:21+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://fightingchanceranchandrescue.com</loc><changefreq>daily</changefreq><priority>1.0</priority><lastmod>2026-03-04T01:58:27+00:00</lastmod></url></urlset>
